The Harrahs Philadelphia Casino and Racetrack was penalized a hefty $35,000 for permitting minors to participate in gambling activities. The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) declared that individuals under the age of 21 were able to gain access to the casino and engage in gaming. The casino’s proprietor, Chester Downs and Marina, was held accountable for this oversight.
The PGCB also levied a $13,000 fine on SportsHub. They asserted that SportsHub altered the individuals responsible for their license without notifying the PGCB.
The PGCB further announced that they will prohibit individuals who abandon their children unattended in casinos. These individuals will be included on a list of those who are barred from entering casinos.
